This indulgent Twix Caramel Apple Pie combines tart apples, gooey caramel, and chunks of Twix bars inside a flaky golden crust.

  • 1 prepared 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6 cups peeled, cored, and sliced apples (Granny Smith or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup chopped Twix bars (approx. 4 regular bars)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  3. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan. Trim any excess dough along the edges for a neat fit.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the crust and spread evenly. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  5. Sprinkle chopped Twix bars evenly over the apple mixture.
  6. Drizzle about 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the apples and Twix.
  7. Create a lattice top with a second crust or cover with a full crust and cut vents.
  8. Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the egg wash over the top crust.
  9. Place the pie on a baking sheet. Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven and cool for at least 2 hours.
  11. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top before serving. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
