Ruth’s Chris Stuffed Chicken is a restaurant-style classic you can easily recreate at home. Tender, juicy chicken breasts are filled with a rich, creamy cheese mixture and baked until golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mild blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Cut a deep pocket into the side of each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture evenly into each pocket. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Place chicken in a greased baking dish. Brush with olive oil or butter and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks.
