Pasta Smoked Salmon and Dill Cream Sauce for an Epic Dinner

  • 12 oz fresh fettuccine
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, diced
  • 2 pieces shallots, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 2-3 minutes for fresh pasta.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced shallots and sauté until translucent, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the diced smoked salmon and pour in the dry white wine. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sauce, adding salt to taste and folding in the fresh chopped dill.
  6. Serve immediately, letting each bite revel in the rich blend of flavors.
