Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground chicken
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil or neutral oil (for cooking)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, maple syrup, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix until just combined.
Shape mixture into 12–14 small patties, about 1/2 inch thick each.
Preheat a non-stick or cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add oil and heat until shimmering.
Place patties in the pan without overcrowding. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot or let cool to store for later.
