1 lb Ground pork
1 cup Shredded carrots
1 cup Finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup Chopped green onions
3 cloves Minced garlic
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Ground pepper
1 package Lumpia wrappers
2 cups Oil for frying (Neutral oil that withstands high heat)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, shredded carrots, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and ground pepper. Stir until everything is well blended.
Lay a lumpia wrapper flat on a clean surface and place a small amount of the filling near one edge.
Carefully roll the wrapper over the filling tightly, folding in the sides to seal.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering. Test the oil by dropping a small piece of the wrapper in; it should sizzle.
Gently place the rolled lumpia in the hot oil, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the lumpia from the pan and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
