Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 23 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, grated onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined.
  2. Lightly oil your hands and shape the mixture into equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Place patties in the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  5. Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate. Let them rest a few minutes before serving.
