1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup pizza sauce or lightly seasoned crushed tomatoes
1 cup cooked spicy chicken or turkey sausage, sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2–3 tablespoons honey
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out pizza dough on parchment paper and brush lightly with olive oil.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully cooked and lightly browned. Set aside.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, then add sausage and crumbled feta. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if using.
Transfer pizza to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven and drizzle honey over the hot pizza. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
