1.3 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thigh
1/3 cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/3 cup Honey
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss in the chicken pieces until they’re fully coated with the mixture.
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted and shimmering, carefully add the chicken in a single layer. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Lower the heat to medium.
In the same pan, melt the remaining 5 tablespoons of butter. Stir in honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for around 4-5 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Return the fried chicken to the pan and gently toss it in the sauce, ensuring every piece is coated.
