  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder until fully combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, melted butter, and maple syrup until smooth.
  3. Whisk the eggs into the wet mixture thoroughly.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently fold together using a rubber spatula.
  5. Carefully fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  6. Spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Using a mini cookie scoop, distribute the batter evenly into the muffin tin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 14 minutes.
