Garlic Overload Burgers: Your Ultimate Flavor Bomb Recipe

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • Garlic aioli for topping
  • Fresh lettuce and tomato for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 6 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 egg, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Gently form each into a patty about 3/4 to 1 inch thick and slightly wider than your burger buns. Create a small indentation in the center of each patty. Refrigerate patties for at least 15 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  3. Preheat your grill or a large cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. During the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese (if using) on top of each patty and allow it to melt. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly toast the cut sides of the burger buns on the grill or in a separate skillet until golden brown and fragrant. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  5. Spread garlic aioli generously on both halves of the toasted buns. Layer the bottom bun with fresh lettuce, tomato (if using), followed by the cheesy burger patty. Top with more garlic aioli and the remaining bun. Serve immediately.
