Ingredients
Scale
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (8–10 ounces each)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Pat dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest.
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Spoon garlic butter over the resting steaks.
In the same pan or a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and garlic powder, stirring gently. Bring to a light simmer.
Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Slice the steak if desired, drizzle with Parmesan cream sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
