Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a flavor-packed, crowd-pleasing appetizer. These miniaturized marvels transform the iconic heat and tang of Buffalo wings into a convenient, delicious package, perfect for sharing at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 slider buns
  • 1 ½ cups shredded chicken
  • ½ cup Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for chicken)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for bun topping)
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Slice the block of slider buns horizontally to separate tops from bottoms. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the bottom layer of buns. Spoon the prepared Buffalo chicken mixture over the cheese. Top with the remaining shredded cheese. Carefully place the top halves of the slider buns over the chicken and cheese layers.
  4. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning until well combined. Using a pastry brush, generously brush this butter mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
  5. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops of the buns are golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing into individual portions along the original perforations. Serve warm, optionally with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery/carrot sticks.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation.
  • Adjust hot sauce to taste for more or less heat.
  • These can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
