Delight in these Deviled Strawberries, filled with a creamy mixture and topped with graham crackers, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1824 pieces Large strawberries (ripe strawberries)
  • 1 package Cream cheese (8 ounces, softened)
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream (for a light texture)
  • 1/3 cup Sour cream (for richness)
  • 2/3 cup Granulated sugar (for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (for flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice (optional, brightens flavors)
  • 1/2 cup Graham cracker crumbs (for texture)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries. Start by rinsing the large strawberries under cool water, gently removing any dirt or impurities. Hull them carefully to create a space for the luscious filling!
  2. Mix the filling. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice (if using). Beat everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Whip the cream. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream using a hand mixer or stand mixer until soft peaks form. This step will give your filling that light, airy texture.
  4. Fold the whipped cream. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, using a spatula to combine until well blended.
  5. Layer the graham cracker crumbs. At the bottom of a serving dish, sprinkle a layer of graham cracker crumbs.
  6. Spoon the filling. Carefully spoon the creamy mixture over the graham cracker layer, spreading it generously.
  7. Top with hulled strawberries. Place the washed and hulled strawberries neatly on top of the cream mixture.
  8. Refrigerate. Allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
