- 1 cup creamy Biscoff spread
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 30 soft caramels
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper, greased lightly.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and Biscoff spread until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl and stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a thick dough forms.
- Fold in most of the chocolate chips, saving some for topping.
- Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the pan evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramels with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the caramel over the base layer and spread gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining dough over the caramel and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes until golden and set in the center.
- Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
