  • 8 ounces Linguine
  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • 1 juice Lemon
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine as per package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Toss in shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat.
  8. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the pasta and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
