- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream room temperature
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Set aside.
- In another bowl, prepare streusel topping by combining flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Chill.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Add sour cream, milk, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spread half the batter into the baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Top with remaining batter, then streusel.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 30 minutes. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cake if desired.
