Delicious Copycat Old-Fashioned See’s Candy Fudge Recipe

  • 4.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 12 oz Evaporated Milk (Avoid sweetened condensed milk.)
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Ghirardelli is highly recommended.)
  • 1 jar Marshmallow Creme (7 oz.)
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract (Use pure extract for best results.)
  • 2 cups Walnuts or Pecans (Feel free to omit for nut allergies.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a 9×13 baking dish with foil, then spray it generously with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, softened butter, nuts, marshmallow creme, and vanilla extract.
  3. Cook Sugar Mixture: In a pot, combine granulated sugar and evaporated milk. Heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Cook for 9 minutes.
  4. Combine: Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate mixture. Stir until melted and glossy.
  5. Set the Fudge: Pour into the baking dish, smooth it out, and refrigerate until firm, ideally overnight.
  6. Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out, cut into cubes, and enjoy.
