Churro Saltine Toffee is a decadent treat combining the salty crunch of saltine crackers with rich buttery toffee and sweet white chocolate, finished with a cinnamon-sugar sprinkle for a churro-inspired twist.

  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 40 Saltine Crackers
  • 1 cup Salted Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a 10 x 15-inch baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  4. Lay out the 40 saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. In a saucepan, combine the salted butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil and stir frequently.
  6. Once boiling, maintain a continuous stir and boil for 5 minutes.
  7. Pour the hot toffee evenly over the saltines.
  8. Bake for 5 minutes to set the toffee.
  9. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes, then push any overlapping crackers back into place.
  10. Sprinkle the white chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them melt.
  11. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the toffee layer.
  12. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the melted chocolate.
  13. Allow to cool completely, then cut or break into pieces.
