Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Dry White Wine
  • 1.5 cups Gruyere Cheese
  • 1.5 cups Swiss Cheese
  • 1 clove Garlic (halved)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 0.125 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 0.125 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 drops Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 1 package Miniature Smoked Sausages
  • 1 jar Dill Pickles
  • 1 bag Pretzels

Instructions

  1. Combine 4 teaspoons of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of dry white wine in a small bowl. Set this mixture aside while you prepare the base.
  2. Heat 1 cup of dry white wine in a fondue pot over medium heat.
  3. Add the halved garlic clove to the wine and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the garlic clove and gradually stir in the Gruyere and Swiss cheese, mixing until melted and creamy.
  5. Incorporate the reserved cornstarch mixture into the cheese blend and stir until smooth.
  6. Mix in lemon juice, garlic powder, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Stir until well combined.
  7. Serve your fondue immediately with miniature smoked sausages, dill pickles, and pretzels for dipping.
