Ingredients
Scale
1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
8 ounces rigatoni pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust cooking time for desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the cheesy sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper as needed.
Slice the rested steak against the grain. Serve the cheesy rigatoni on plates, topped with slices of Cajun steak. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
