Elegant Baked Brie with Fig Jam – Creamy, Sweet & Crowd-Pleasing

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel of brie (8 oz or 12 oz)
  • 1/3 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Crackers or crostini for serving
  • Sliced French bread or baguette for serving
  • Apple or pear slices for serving
  • Fresh berries for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or small baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Remove packaging and place the brie wheel on parchment. Optionally score the top rind lightly in a crisscross pattern.
  3. Spread the fig jam generously over the top of the brie.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts, add a pinch of cinnamon, and drizzle honey if using.
  5. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until softened but not bursting.
  6. Let cool 3–5 minutes, then transfer to a serving platter. Surround with crackers, bread, fruit, or berries.

Notes

  • Use full-fat brie for the creamiest texture.
  • Swap fig jam for apricot, raspberry, cranberry, or blackberry preserves.
  • Add nuts before baking for toasted flavor or after baking for extra crunch.
  • Fresh rosemary enhances aroma—add after baking.
