A quick and easy method to cook frozen hash browns, both patties and shredded, using the air fryer for a crispy, golden result with minimal oil and fuss.

Ingredients

  • Frozen hash browns (patties or shredded) – quantity as desired
  • Olive oil spray – for spraying the basket and potatoes
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. For patties, preheat to 400°F. For shredded hash browns, preheat to 375°F.
  2. Optionally spray the basket with olive oil spray.
  3. Place frozen patties in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 10-12 minutes at 400°F until crispy and golden.
  4. Arrange shredded potatoes in a thin, even layer in the basket.
  5. Cook at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking or flipping gently every 5 minutes for even browning.

Notes

  • Check at 15 minutes to prevent burning and adjust time if needed.
