This easy Air Fryer Donut recipe uses refrigerated biscuit dough to create delicious, golden brown donuts and donut holes coated in cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Avocado oil spray, for spraying the donuts
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Set your air fryer to 350°F and allow it to fully preheat to ensure even cooking.
  2. Using a donut cutter or a bottle cap, cut out the centers of each biscuit to create donut shapes.
  3. Lightly spray both sides of your donut shapes with avocado oil to promote browning and prevent sticking.
  4. Place the donuts in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown.
  5. Use the cut-out centers as donut holes. Spray them with cooking oil and air fry for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While the donuts and holes are cooking, pour the melted butter into a shallow bowl. In another bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  7. Once cooked, quickly dunk the donuts and donut holes first in the melted butter, then coat them evenly in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Enjoy the air fryer donuts fresh and warm for the best flavor and texture.
