Quick and flavorful chicken lettuce wraps for a healthy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce or sriracha (optional)
  • 1 head butter lettuce or romaine, leaves separated and washed

Instructions

  1. Prep all ingredients: mince garlic and ginger, slice green onions, and rinse lettuce leaves.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili sauce (if using). Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir in water chestnuts if using and cook another minute.
  6. Spoon chicken mixture into lettuce leaves. Top with green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • These wraps are low-carb and perfect for a quick meal.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by using more or less chili sauce.
  • You can substitute the ground chicken with turkey or tofu for variation.
