  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz dried egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the garlic and ginger. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the drained noodles. Toss everything together until the chicken and noodles are well coated in the sticky garlic sauce.
