Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in milk and cheddar cheese until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
