  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups peeled and diced pears

Instructions

  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  5. While the crust bakes, combine dark brown sugar, 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs, flour, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and baking powder in the same bowl.
  6. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until a thick batter forms.

  8. Spread the pear filling evenly over the pre-baked crust.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set.
  10. Let the pear bars cool completely before cutting.
