Ingredients
Scale
1 package of refrigerated croissant dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup sliced pepperoni
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using parchment paper, line a baking sheet with it or spray the sheet with cooking spray.
Open the package of croissant dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
On the wide end of each triangle, sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and place a few slices of pepperoni on top.
If desired, sprinkle Italian seasoning over the cheese and pepperoni for added flavor.
Starting from the wide end, gently roll up each triangle toward the pointed end, creating a crescent shape. Ensure the filling is tucked inside.
In a small bowl, beat the egg to make an egg wash. Brush the tops of the rolled croissants with the egg wash to achieve a golden-brown color when baked.
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden and flaky.
Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack.
These rolls are best enjoyed warm!
