Savor This Low Carb Sausage and Cabbage Skillet Delight

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Kielbasa Sausage
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ head Cabbage, washed and cut
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 teaspoon White Wine Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until the onion becomes translucent, around 3-4 minutes.
  3. Slice the kielbasa and add it to the skillet. Cook until it’s nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the salt, black pepper, and cabbage to the skillet; stir to combine all those wonderful ingredients.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and white wine vinegar; cover and let it simmer until the cabbage is tender, approximately 10-15 minutes.
