  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
  2. Stir shredded chicken into the sauce and cook 3–5 minutes until heated through and evenly coated.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider buns horizontally and place bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread honey mustard chicken evenly over bottom buns. Add cheese if using. Place top buns over filling.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle parsley if desired. Cover loosely with foil and bake 15–20 minutes until warm and lightly golden.
  6. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
