- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne (optional)
- 6–8 crispy corn tostada shells
- 1 cup refried beans, warmed
- 1 avocado, mashed or sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup crumbled queso fresco or shredded cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes or pico de gallo
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges, for serving
- Mix olive oil, lime juice, and spices. Coat chicken and marinate for 20–30 minutes.
- Grill over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Rest, then slice.
- Warm refried beans and prep all fresh toppings.
- Spread beans on shells, add chicken, avocado, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and cilantro.
- Finish with fresh lime juice and serve immediately.
