Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Snapper:
  • 4 pieces Snapper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • For the Spice Mix:
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • For the Salad:
  • 1 large Mango
  • 1 medium Red Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 205°C).
  2. Clean the snapper thoroughly and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the snapper generously with the spice mix, olive oil, and 2 tablespoons of lime juice.
  4. Grill the snapper for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh flakes easily.
  5. While the snapper is grilling, prepare the salad: dice the mango and thinly slice the red onion.
  6. In a bowl, combine the diced mango and sliced red onion. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of lime juice and toss gently to combine.
  7. Serve the grilled spiced snapper immediately, topped with the fresh mango and red onion salad.

Notes

  • Garnish with extra lime wedges for an added zesty finish.
  • This recipe is naturally gluten-free.
  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the salad.
  • Consider substituting mango with papaya for a different tropical flavor.
