A quick and easy Garlic Butter Steak Tortellini recipe featuring tender steak tips, perfectly cooked tortellini, and a rich garlic butter sauce.

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 package (18 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add steak to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  8. Return the steak and cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  9. Stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve immediately.

  • For a creamier sauce, add an extra tablespoon of heavy cream.
