Crock Pot Baked Ziti is a comforting, effortless dish combining creamy cheeses and rich tomato sauces, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 jar Marinara pasta sauce
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 12 oz Uncooked ziti pasta
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup Freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the crock pot on low setting.
  2. Mix the marinara sauce, tomato sauce, water, cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta cheese, minced garlic, and chopped basil in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Combine the uncooked ziti pasta with the sauce mixture.
  4. Layer half of the pasta mixture at the bottom of the crock pot.
  5. Sprinkle half of the freshly grated parmesan and mozzarella over the first layer.
  6. Top with the remaining pasta mixture and finish with the rest of the parmesan and mozzarella.
  7. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  8. Serve warm from the crock pot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
