Irresistibly Crunchy Crispy Chicken Wraps You’ll Want Every Week

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup (100g) panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup (60g) mayonnaise or ranch dressing
  • Optional: sliced red onion, cucumber, or pickles

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken into strips and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Coat chicken strips in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat fully in panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Heat tortillas briefly so they’re soft and pliable.
  5. Spread sauce on tortillas, add lettuce, tomato, cheese, and crispy chicken strips.
  6. Toast wraps in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Slice in half and serve immediately.
