  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional garnishes: sliced jalapeños, chopped green onions, or fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sauté onion, bell peppers, and garlic until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes with chilies, milk, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, cooked spaghetti, and half the shredded cheese to the sauce mixture. Stir well to combine.
  5. Pour the chicken spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
