Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, not thawed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Gently fold blueberries into the batter, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 30–35 minutes, until edges are golden and center is set.
  6. Allow blondies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
