  • 2 chai tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose chai tea
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
  • Cinnamon stick or apple slice (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine apple cider and water in a small pot over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add chai tea bags or loose tea to the simmering liquid. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain out loose tea.
  3. Pour in milk and stir in honey or maple syrup if desired. Heat gently until warmed through, do not boil.
  4. Ladle the Apple Chai Latte into mugs. Garnish with cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or an apple slice if using.
